Episode 2 includes Paul Ludovissie and Jared Morgan discussing the night that the tornado hit Mayfield, KY. Paul is the agent for First Baptist Mayfield along with many other churches in Mayfield, Kentucky and graves county. Paul may, or may not, get emotional in this interview.
The second conversation is a one sided interview with Jared Morgan. He describes the turmoil that construction cost inflation creates when a large loss like the Mayfield Tornado hits. In normal times, it’s bad, and those who opted for low building limits are punished. In times of 60% plus inflation in less than 18 months, it’s a disaster, even for those keeping up with their building limits (or attempting to).
